Contacted with my connection regarding the upgrade. He confirmed stocks are getting piled up but installation directives are yet to come. Price is also not finalized. I will be getting it asap. Will update if I come to know anything more.

I think price should be lesser than Airtel's Xstream box as it doesn't have recorder.

It would be weird if they still charge ₹9k for DVR when smart box with catch up is under ₹5k.
