Tata Sky HD STB support on Non HD CRT Tv

I have a normal CRT Tv. I am interested in getting a Tata Sky STB but checked on Tata Sky website SD Box cost 2000 but HD Box cost only Rs 1599. So can i connect a HD Box to a Non HD TV through RCA Cable (Red, White, Yellow)?

Wanna try Tata Sky on Parents Tv.
In our area our local cable operator(Siti Cable) sucks.

You won't regret choosing Tata Sky, they keep their customer happy but Their boxes a bit expensive than Dish TV. By the way how is Dish TV can you tell anything about their services, are you happy with Dish TV?
