The latest HD STB is HEVC. But the channels are in MPEG 4, may be in future they will be converted to HEVC.

Also the 4K STB is HEVC.

On the outer box of the STB its mentioned its HEVC. Pls search for reviews where our members have posted Pics of the STB, u have a look and then ask Tata Sky about ur issues, and then decide.

Even if u buy the HEVC STB now, u will not get anything different from other HD STB. USB recording also is not yet enabled. Have a look at the different reviews and then decide.

I noticed 1 thing after using HEVC Box, there is no Star Plus HD+1 or any other HD Channels 1+ Service isn't Available, Rather Than Star Plus SD+1 or other SD+1 is Available, But I used to watch HD+1 Channels in my older HD Box, Is there any changes happen with this service, Can any1 Plz Confirm..

In my Old HD Box LCN 116 Shows Star Plus HD+1, But in my new HEVC Box in LCN 116 I am getting Star Plus SD+1 Feed, Even No HD+1 Service Available in my this Box. Actual HD channels I can view, But No HD+1 Channels Available, But they are available in my old HD Box, I checked today morning also..
