Okay For TS 2 years gap and For Dishtv 4 years gap which is enough to go ahead than Airtel and Videocon in terms of market share.

Absolutely. For many people DTH means TS or DishTV. Just like Xerox. It is actualy a photocopier machine and Xerox corporation is the name of the company which produce first photocopier machine. But we still use the word xerox to indicate photocopy.

I always wonder how does TS still manage to have 2nd spot with 12 million subscribers 20 % market share just after Dishtv(27%) also with higher total revenue greater than Dishtv? Anybody knows the secret :huh

Bro service is one thing and marketing is another....ts may not provide all chs but their marketing campaign is exceptional ..the brand TATA n SKY speak for itself ....they have best distribution , customer support , hardware quality and widest retailers ....when an 'aam aadami' buy a dth he doesnt compare all the ch lists as we do but just look at at price brand and service ...TS wins hands down in latter two and pricing for general chs for sd is also reasonable...
At last TS has the best AD campaign be it with aamir khan double role ad or small recharges with 'puchne me kya jata hai' or pan india anywhere dish or even everywhere tv (dishtv also hav similar service but they hardly promote it)... Ts is just incredible in these ads.....
