@ sunil bro : I think plan is to move all customers to move to new sat till Insat 4a life ie 2017.

I am not sure on isro that replacement of Insat 4a would work or not because after launch of insat 4a in 2005, no sat is working on air either it is gsat 10 or 12 or 8 or anyother.

Ts will not want to end there dth with the end of Insat 4a so plan might be true.

 
U are Right shubham bro, its good idea by ts. I think they will launch all channel from another sat only on mpeg4. So plenty of channels could be added from new sat, then simultenisly they will migrate stb and dish direction to new sat.
 
In my one thread i was confirm that isro and ts not resolve matter. So may isro give permission to ts to move on foreign satellite. [foreign sat tp are higher value than isro's tp]

but i still have one doubt that after mpeg4 migration is tata sky have enough money to buy tps from foreign sat? :huh
