Sun direct officelly annouced he hired 6 to 8 tps for mesat 3b just visit indiantelevision.com but no officelly annouced by ts to hire mesat 3b better to ts hire gsat 11 tp in 75.E

I think gsat-15 with Ku band will be launched this year at 83 degree. And tata sky can get transponders on that as it will have 24 Ku transponders and will be a replacement of insat 3A and 3B.

i don't know what is goin on first it was said that they will hire new satellite in august month which was moved to september month and now it has reached to october month so is it really going to happen or just the date will move on from one month to another:angry:angry:angry

If ts moved to this then it would be best.

In future one more gsat is coming near to 91.5

As there is one private/foreign player already existing on this position.

Also this will create future possibility of merger of one or more DTH operator as all would be in same direction.

So tata sky. Sun direct and rdtv can be merged to single operator.

Also UHD can be launched as foreign player give TP as when required and available. Which insat or gsat can't promise.
