They have AS7 and AS8 with powerful and sufficient no. of tps, then what's the need of GSAT 10, may be they are going to use it till the date of completion of realignment all dishes. as we know min 3 years needed for the massive work and INSAT 4a may not work more such a long time, it seems Tata sky got the both permission to. migrate to a foreign sat and use GSAT 10 for a certain period, oh! what a good strategy......

But why would ISRO lease Gsat 10 Tps only for 3 years ? Lease agreement should be done for longer period. Otherwise It will hamper ISRO's business

Good point Sarkar bro, but ISRO neither arranged demanded tps nor the earlier permission to use foreign sat, now Tata sky business is at stake, its not possible to give a huge penalty for there lose,, so they give gsat 10 tps to use(of course for some money) for some time,

Then why price hike in Mega packs also, ISRO sat tp rent is less than foreign sats, Tata Sky will earn millions overnight. everything is in favour of them.. and only Gsat 10 means Tata sky? will never win the dth race with others.

It's not a packet of tea,
This shop giving in less price so take it from this,
Give the cell no. of that sales officer, who knows details about Isro & TS discussion, & within a day he allowed to tell it to users also.
