Both channels are now lacking new movies. Moreover, they are facing tough challenges from the Netaflix and other similar OTT platforms. Without adding new movies in the library it would be challenging for Star Movies and Star Movies Select to survive

from today, Sony pix will air Mad max fury road at 9PM, Star movies used to air this movie

But that's very niche. Even niche than niche premium channels.

They better convert it as SM2.
