Then why does CC ask if the STB is on or off when we recharge, change packs or add any service ?

You are answering the questions yourself. If they could detect then they would not ask whether STB is on or off. DTH boxes are only one way communication from DTH to consumers. There is no return feedback path like ATM VSat terminal has.

Hi all,

Package prices on the platform will see a revision wef 18th April 2018. Key Changes are as follows:

Dhamaka Kids: New pack which will have all the content on 199 pack + 7 kids channels + All music channels. The pack will be priced at Rs 259 pm.

Dhamaal Mix: An improved content line up with addition of Star Sports Hindi 1 as part of the pack which is the destination to most of India cricket. The pack will be priced at Rs 319 pm and will now be called Dhamaal Mix Cricket Pack.

No change in pricing of Ultra & Platinum packs.

So Dhamaka Kids is a new pack being introduced from today.

And they are adding Star Sports 1 Hindi in Dhamaal Mix pack, nice offering. I feel they will add some more channels in lower packs to justify the price hike.
