this is new Q3 report, published on 9th feb. 2024

Bro, actually the above report is for Q2FY24 and earlier thread which u jad posted some months back (can be seen in related threads category yoo of u scroll down to bottom of this page) had dat about Q1FY24.... 1st u had mentioned Q2 in title of this thread which was right and as u had wrongly mentioned Q2 in title of earlier thread too hence i got confused , please correct this mistake in both threads. Thanks

So Tata Play lost maximum subscribers while Dish d2h and Airtel Digital TV saw increase its customer base....Sun Direct too saw some decline in its user base.

Overall if we analyze then DTH Pay subscriber base went down from 65.50 Million in Q1FY 24 to 64.18 Million in Q2FY24 , Tata Play still is largest Pay TV DTH operator but saw maximum reduction in its subscriber base which shrunk by while Sun Direct too quite lot of customers while Airtel Digital TV & Dish D2H lost fewer subscribers

This is the net deduction (subscribers added minus those which r counted as deactivated/cancelled based on rules laid down by TRAI, don't exactly remember the exact time duration of account not being recharged which is counted as deactivation) .... Also in Q3 Airtel Digital TV said that it saw highest addition of 3.83,000 new subscribers and its customer base is now 16.1 which means Airtel is only projecting figures for Active (using services) Subscribers out of total customer base as in the data chart mentioned in above post only net count of customers however many of them still would have been counted even though they would not be using the services and still not reached the deadline for suspended account for it to be deemed cancelled/inactive....Dish d2h might be having more of such subscribers
