If so we should have option to choose only wanted channels even though FTA channels.And the price should be deducted from FTA channel NCF .if all 200 FTA NCF is 160,then we don't want all these channels.only selected other language channels with our own language channels so the price should be that much not 160.moreover advts are too high.if price hike then advt also to be cu.

Actually TRAI made this media in dull .earlier in sun direct all channels was getting for mega Malayalam pack for Rs 279 and 300 for a month After TRAI rule all are gone

One thing is clear from the discussion of all the stakeholders that it is more Operators vs Broadcasters, as both have own view points...
In case of NCF, Broadcasters are against NCF because of additional burden while Operators argue about their maintenance costs,etc.
In case of Pay Channels on DDFD, Operators are against the Pay nature of those channels while Broadcasters argue that there are only 20 channels and it would be helpful for limited income families.

And also ordered to make all Pay channels that available on DD Free Dish shoud also available Free for all Operators or they should left that platform. This revised tariff will help cable tv operators. Many pay channels available on DD Free Dish like Zee Punjabi. Zee Punjabi is the highest priced pay channel that available on DD Free Dish. It's price is around 10 rupees. Now maybe this channel also available FTA on all DTH platform. And Pay DTH users will not feel cheated. And in any case, it will not be right that one user can watch that channel for free and the other has to pay 12 rupees for it.
