If Uday Shankar, James Murdoch acquires 40% stake in Viacom18 then the US media conglomerate ViacomCBS becomes the minority shareholder with just 9%.

So not sure whether they will use the same name for the parent company going forward. And most of their International content might go the highest bidder in India instead of going to Viacom18 channels or streaming service (Voot)

In future History will leave Viacom for Disney. It can feel the void of International content. Than you also got an experienced International sports player like Eurosport on board. The thing here is the money. Even CCI would approve it without any hassle. Network 18 + Viacom 18 + Discovery pact can work out great.
