I am having same stb model 500gb.
As I have common dish connection in my society they have provided only 1 LNB cable. it works fine for viewing only without recording
When I came 2 know about looper cable through ur post, I tried to record 2 channels simultaneously by connecting looper cable.
I also set lnb type as loop through. It worked fine for almost all channels.But some channels there is channel mismatch occurring while recording the channel. Have you experienced the same..?
Is there any solution on it...? d2h technicians also say that I would require 2 cables for seamless recording and viewing without channel mismatch. Is there any other setting in satellite management so that I can avoid extra cable work?
