Videocon STB HD/4k

Looking to buy new videocon d2h STB , should I go for 4K STB or HD-DVR STB

If we leave the recording feature what advantage does both STB have over others

Also all those who have 4K STB can anyone tell the manufacture date as I need to make sure i get the latest one if I go with 4K STB.

4K stb launched in last year & also a good quality product by Technicolor (same manufacturer of Tata Sky stb) and good software without lag, best picture quality...:tup

Varies from shop to shop. How we can find which stock one shop has? Or check different places to know which manufacture date stb they have...

Yup,but I am asking users about their manufacture date so its gives an idea on the latest date

doesn't matter as hardware will be same until any new model comes. and i think this stb has option to update software through OTA, but not sure. others please confirm.
