just now counted the channels, there r total 284 chs in airtel(after removal of espn hd and star cricket hd it will bcome 282) including hd chs(remember this count does not include home ch,pay per view chs and star gold hitz and superhitz). if we take only sd chs then it comes down to 267 chs and out of this 267, 8 chs r in small screen that is idd and idd-south so ch count of linear ch further comes down to 259.

regarding videocon i will tell u exact chs tomorrow as currently i have removced my d2h stb. but i know videocon d2h has many more chs than airtel
videocon pic and sound quality is awesome and if u com,plain on facebook ur complain will b resolved in hrs

Airtel have better hardware and PQ of SD channels but slightly higher packages rates in comparison with d2h.

But D2h have pathetic hardware and lower PQ of SD channel and best package prices.

i disagree, d2h pic and sound quality is good, by no standards is it pathetic. yes in hardware and software quality, d2h is behind. mopst of their stb show bluish tint in picture plus their software is slow
