it can refer to 5.1 also depending on the codec bitrate.. but nowadays 7.1 is the common standard worldwide..

From DD+ you will get 640 kbps DD signal
Which will be superior than 384 kbps DD signal of other DD channels

Bitrate is not the meaning of dd+. Please check sun tv. It is also 640kbps.

Sun tv is DD 640kbps (this is the only channel in Airtel with that quality in DD section) all others are 384 kbps

Normally broadcast standard of DD+ is 256 kbps,
Which will be 640kbps while downcorveting

DD+ is superior both in datacompression & quality compare to DD

What ever it maybe. We need out put. At least they should give latest movies with good quality dd.
