w.e.f 14 jan 2014, Malayalam Channels will be remove from Base Pack

Kindly note w.e.f 14th January’14 (00:00 hrs) ADTV will be removing 7 Malayalam channels from all the base packs in which these channels are available. The Channels which will be removed are: -

Kairali TV-806
Asianet News-824
Amrita TV-812
Manorama News-822
Indiavision-826
Kairali WE-818
Shalom-830

*All the base subscribed to Malayalam Optional Topup has been provisioned with Malayalam 2 Topup from the back-end.
*TOPUP3031 , Malayalam 2 FOC Provisioning TOPUP Nov-13 including channels Kairali TV,Asianet News,Amrita TV,Manorama News,Indiavision,Kairali WE,Shalom & Media One

Bad Move by ADTV.
They are creating rule like TataSky.
In my view they can make all regional channels to only 1 top up it will be good not like malayalam top up 1 or 2.
Or they make all ROI Channels to base pack like:-Dabangg,BIG Magic,Adhyatm TV,Sadhna TV,Focus Haryana,IBC 24 etc....

I don't see this as a problem except for multilinguals. Others can just use a topup. Why should we pay for languages we do not even understand. This will pass on the cost to customers.
