Initially things were really getting bitter between Indiacast and Tata Sky. Tata Sky had almost decided to drop their channels and no mood to accept their demands or bow down. Indiacast even ran a hard hitting twitter campaign 1 day before scheduled removal date. Case was filed in TDSAT by Induacast and Indiacast declared that Tata Sky is not interested in negotiations so we can't continue providing extension of signals. TDSAT gave 30 day period to them for sorting things.

Right around that period in October, Tat Sky's stubborness suddenly started weakening when they realized that subscribers will start ditching them if channels from major networks like Sony, Indiacast or Zee are unavailable. So since then better sense has prevailed and temporary arrangements are making the boat not sink however it's clear that either parties don't have full faith in other, had that been the case then they would have jointly told TDSAT to dismiss case as they are in confidence to sort it internally.

Now both are waiting for TRAI Order to be implemented as earlier fixed deal scenario is out of box, now on all operators will get channels at same cost from broadcasters. As TRAI has given freedom to operators to buy bouquets from all broadcasters and mix match channels to offer it to subscribers in designated slabs hence chances are there of operators being partial and promoting a network or even so clubbing channels in such way that makes us opt for maximum slabs. This is why i stated earlier in afternoon that maximum 15% cap in bouquet discount is strictly adhered as in such a sutuation we will have option to chose lot cheaper a-la-carte channels than present new prices declared by broadcasters

So Tatasky n Indiacast still not yet signed deal:undecided:
