Ball Is In Tata Sky Court!

They Have To Take Call Bro!

Today is hearing date for Indiacast dispute in TDSAT, let's see if things have been finalized and new contract is signed based on latest regulations. Initial situation of being at loggerhead with Zee and Indiacast is not there anymore, these parties are engaging to get things sorted. TRAI Tariff Order route is cleared, QOS mandate still awaited from Honorable Delhi High Court. Only point which needs clarity regarding Tariff Order is about discount which can be offered on bouquet by broadcasters, if "not less than 85% cap" is not implemented then again A-La-Carte option will only be an eyewash as bouquet will be much more affordable.

So will TS implement TRAI Tariff Order and Regulations by 29th Dec ??? Even if QoS verdict is not given by HC by 29th Dec ???

Yes bhai, both are separate things. TRAI Tariff is surely getting implemented, all roadblocks cleared barring "85%" rule on which TRAI has not made it's stand clear after court verdict.

If you ask CC they will say they have no info on TRAI Tariff Order. Dish-D2h and SD have informed their subscribers, ADTV and TS are left.

May be they are still working to make their system compatible with new regime and when all arrangements are in place + approved by management then they will announce it for general public. Remember other operators like Dish TV, Hathway etc. were always in favour of TRAI hence they must have decided in advance about new pricing mechanism while Tata Sky had hoped that this gets struck down & energy was focused on this matter. Apart from basic details about new prices nothing has come out yet from DPO's. Lots of technical/logistical stuff must be in process of getting overhauled post TRAI Tariff Order getting green signal after years of legal hurdles.
