Breaking W.e.f 8th March Star Network Channels will be removed from base pack

Will this affect the HD channels that we choose in freedom packs? Or will we have to use alacarte there too?

If this is happen, this will be big Shocker for my family. My grandparents watch Star jalsha and Star plus.Me and my parents watch Star gold, Star gold selwct, Star movies, Star sports network. We cant afford all this channels for both of my connection in A la Carta basis.
But I wait for some days, I think Airtel will resolve this issue

Update - Approximately 60+ channels i.e. all star channels will be removed from base packages and will only be available on alcarte basis only.

There's a little bit confusion i.e. as per the notice the channels wont be available in adtv then how will they be available on alcarte basis???

Hope they renew their contract soon.

@Sarkar bro one question they removed channels from base packages. But what about Addons. We have HD add on.Are this channels also removed from Add ons?

I think Star asked money based on the subscriber base of Adtv. Because of that Airtel removing Star channels from base pack to know how many subscribers want these channels & pay Star according to that.

guys what is the reason behind this ? is it what @Saj 007 bro said or airtel has financial issues ?
same thing happened between videocon and sony ten channels. why are they removing star channels from base packs ?
any idea ?
