What are L and R polarisations ?

There are H &V and L & R both types of transponders on this sat first you try normal H/V TP with normal lnb. then try circular lnb without disturbing dish

 
In early days of Sun Network channels those were in L/R Polarities.. i think it was in Righthand Circular but cant remember the exact... i think it was from 54 / 55°E .. I was using this FeedHorn for getting the maximum signals using as Side corner  position in 12Ft Dish.. main was 83°E...this was specially made for Sun Network channels in early 90's...u can change positions according to L/R..

Are these Ku LNBs ?
If so,Are these still available in the market or have they disappeared like previous  Gardiner C band LNBs ?
