That was a temporary solution, coz ISRO took too long to launch GSAT 30 and in the meanwhile Insat 4A was failing and we would have had a mass channel blackout on Tata sky if a replacement satellite wasn't commissioned at war-footing. This is why ISRO moved GSAT 31 from its original slot at 48 degrees East to 82.95 degrees East so Tata Sky could use it without needing to re-allign the antennas. Once GSAT 30 was launched and commissioned this year, GSAT 31 was sent back to its original slot.What About Gsat- 31 I Hard This Satellite Also Use By Tata sky
