Why 9X0 is being badly missed ( Airtel ignoring Music genre channels)

Airtel is ignoring the music genre channels altogether. Here's a list of few gud english + Hindi channel that should be added:

9XO to bring in 2013 with a marathon music session

9X Media’s international music channel 9XO is airing a marathon music session called 9XO 12-O-thon.
The special program which kicked off on 20 December will go on till 1 January and will feature the top rated international artists and their music from the year 2012.

The 9XO 12-O-Thon music session will present songs from 12 categories including pop, dance, rock, Indian, collaboration, out there, quirky, debuts, legends, male, female and hip-hop, featuring international artists such as Rihanna, Bieber, Psy, Aerosmith, Goddess Gagged, Bob Dylan, Taylor Swift, Chris Brown and Swedish House Mafia. The channel will air a new category everyday with top 12 songs in each category.

XO 12-O-thon will culminate with a finale on 31 December with all categories played from 12 noon to 12 midnight bringing in the new year.

9XO programming head Luke Kenny said, “2012 has been a great year for international music and we plan to celebrate the same with 9XO 12-O-thon. This first-of-its-kind marathon music session on Indian television will commemorate the best international artists and music of 2012. With 9XO 12-O-thon we will get our viewers to start their celebrations early and this will definitely resonate well with our viewers.”

English music channels ok,airtel only has one music channel vh1.but hindi channels do you have sense?.there is bundle of hindi channels in all dth.almost every dth add all the hindi channels.but jk lots of regional channels still missing.but now also you want more hindi channels.great great india.why in every industry regional languages are avoided...

Coz the reason is simple and sensible, that regional channels only cater to a particular region/ particular sector of people. India being a predominantly hindi speaking country, will have more channels in a language that is understood by the masses. Does that make any sense to u ??

Major dth all are giving near by 25 Tamil channels and 20 Telugu channels.major multi language channels are giving Tamil and Telugu feed ,but you compare with other regional Bengal 15,Punjabi 10,Gujarati 5,Marathi 12,Rajasthani 3,Assami 2,odiya 10.so all dth fulfill their requirement by giving Hindi channels.Hindi is general for all north Indians and also major part of Indian population.

international English music channel is must for us.
