If zee continues to focus so strongly on dubbed south indian movies then i think they too will lose many films/banners to star/disney in near future. Star/disney will further strengthen its foothold among bollywood audience base , already it is leader in this segment. Zee will acquire big bollywood films but it may not fetch desired ratings if bollywood audience drifts away and gradually as this will have negative financial impact as well as banners/producers will feel worried about performance or visibility of their films hence may think about shifting to star/disney.

Here I m not being biased but just trying to decode what could happen if this continues for some more time. I had said same about Sony Pictures Network India Hindi Movie Chs long back in 2014 or 15 and continued sharing feedback regarding this with sony as well as their hindi movie cluster head, as changes were not made on time so my estimations came out true.

Zee should learn from mistakes committed by Sony as still it has strong chance to bounce back and regain success with its diverse bollywood film library and decent bollywood films audience base

Even Viacom18 is improving on bollywood content so it will have right content strategy going forward.

Incase zee does not make corrections then a situation might arise where primarily bollywood audience will have viacom18 and star/disney hindi movie channels as their favourite destination to watch bollywood movies while zee/sony might become a destination for dubbed south indian movies audience base. I do not want such situation. Sony Max 2 and Zee Bollywood already aren't that attractive chs for bollywood audience and losing films will further lead to negative performance, Max 2 is still a good channel but Zee Bollywood jus repeats few films over n over

Also I think movies like RRR, Sooryavanshi , Gangubai should premiere on Zee TV instead of Zee Cinema in order to attract more viewership as people who only watch TV dramas and are not pure movie lovers might ignore Zee Cinema. But while watching drama, if they see promo of a movie coming , they will definitely get attracted towards it . This will certainly help them in rease their viewership .c

No buddy. And Pictures should continue as a channel featuring movies likes by younger 15 to 40 yrs audience. Zee Cinema should give 30:70 ratio weightage to dubbed south indian and Bollywood films respectively. Zee Action should mix of bollywood, dubbed hollywood and very few dubbed south indian films . Zee Anmol Cinema should again focus mostly on bollywood films and dubbed hollywood , dubbes south indian films should b minimal on it more so now bcoz BFlix will b available on DD Free Dish and air Pen Studios dubbed film library. Zee Classic is doing a good job in catering to retro bollywood movie viewers

Zee Cinema HD is doing fine but should air more popular old or new bollywood films, And Pictures HD should have regular bollywood content, dubbed hollywood content and offbeat bollywood films. And Xplor is doing well but needs to available across platforms asap.

Sony / Zee not only losing bollywood films , hollywood films (Universal Films) to star/disney but now even dubbed hollywood films (Warner Bros) started shifting. If Sony Pictures original/dubbed library also shifts from sony/zee to star/disney then Sony Pix and and Flix / Privé will not have much to offer and multi language option might also b rendered pretty much useless. Expecting even Paramount Pictures dubbed film library to shift to star/disney

Incase original / English version library of Warner Bros shifts to star/ disney then sony/zee will b dependent on smaller studio films for its english movie channels and they may shut down either Sony Pix or And Flix
