The Russian Ministry of Telecommunications and Mass Media has modified the scheme for providing satellite TV services. The decision is related to the accident affecting the Express-MD1 satellite, which has been used for the re-transmission of Russian TV channels 'The First Channel', 'Russia 1', 'Culture' and 'The Fifth Channel' to the European part of Russia. Th capacity of other Russian satellite, Yamal-202, will be used for this purpose, while the Express MD1 satellite is out of order.
