Classic Hindi movie channel Zee Classic has launched a new property called ‘Classic Kisse’ featuring unknown trivia about legendary artists and their films.
Airing between the breaks of daily primetime (9 pm) feature films, ‘Classic Kisse’ will reveal unheard anecdotes about actors, directors, producers, music composers from the timeless era.
The channel has appointed a special research team to uncover interesting tales from the past generations.
Some of the nuggets the team has discovered include Smita Patil’s anxious call to Amitabh Bachchan during the Bangalore schedule of ‘Coolie’ just to tell him that she had a nightmare of him getting hurt on the sets. Patil’s nightmare came true soon enough.
Moreover, Saddam Hussein inspired his army by showing action sequences from the film ‘Coolie’ and Sunil Dutt’s younger sister Rani played cupid to Dutt and Nargis.
With ‘Classic Kisse’, Zee Classic will share behind-the-scene stories through videos and texts to provide viewers a glimpse into the glitzy world of stardom.
It will also invite some artists, their friends, and relatives to share some personal information about their favourite actors.
