They are preparing for the HD launch. This starts when the shows on the app are available in HD.

No, the channel is neither officially nor unofficially launched yet. If it was launched and not available on DTH, we would at least witness ads on the channel regarding HD channel.
They are dead slow in this process of launching HD version of Zee Kannada though they have the License and the market for the channel. I really don't understand why. They are pushing it month by month. I will be happy at least if it does not go to next year.
