MUMBAI: Continuing its global expansion, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL) will launch Zee TV in Latin America for Portuguese-speaking audiences. Apart from Zee TV, the company will also launch its global lifestyle network Z Living for US Hispanic audiences.
To be broadcast 100 per cent in Portuguese and Spanish (Z Living), the two channels will be offered to operators in these markets very soon. Both Zee brands will be programmed with 100 per cent re-directed content dubbed into Spanish and Portuguese.
Zee’s operations in the region will be coordinated from ZEEL’s main offices in Mumbai with support from a dedicated team in Miami and, eventually, sales representation in Mexico, Brazil and Argentina.
“Qualitative and quantitative research in the region’s leading markets, including Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina, have enabled us to identify great opportunities for our two Spanish- and Portuguese-language networks on linear and pay TV platforms in Latin America and the US Hispanic market,” ZEEL MD & CEO Punit Goenka explained.
