D2h, a brand of Direct to Home (DTH) operator Dish TV India seems to be gearing up for the launch of its D2h HD RF STB plus Magicstick combo with the listings on D2h website now reflecting the correct price of the combo offer. D2h has updated the pricing from the earlier Rs 1500 to Rs 2198. D2h’s HD RF STB is also likely to be available in two variants soon according to the listings.
At April end, listings had gone live on the D2h website which showed D2h HD RF STB plus Magicstick combo priced at Rs 1599. This was however an incorrect listing since the combo itself was cheaper than the HD RF STB which costs Rs 1799.
D2h has now revealed the correct pricing of the D2h HD RF STB plus Magicstick combo which is priced at Rs 2198. The combo won’t however provide any discount as it is currently priced at Rs 2198 which is the combined total of the price of HD RF STB and Magicstick. D2h will provide 1 subscription of Platinum HD combo along with the product.
The listings also show that D2h will apparently offer two variants of HD RF STB at Rs 1599 and Rs 1799. The former will provide 1 month subscription to Gold HD combo whereas the latter will provide 1 month subscription to Platinum HD combo. Whether this listing is correct is another thing, as D2h currently provides its HD STB at the same price with the same pack.
Press queries sent to Dish TV India a few weeks back have till the filing of this story elicited no response from the DTH operator’s end.
