Dish TV owned Direct to Home (DTH) operator d2h is gearing up for the launch of ‘HD RF Set-Top box with Magic Stick’ combo offer. The new product is now listed on the d2h customer website, however, it is currently not available for booking.
According to the listing on the d2h product page, HD RF Set-Top Box with Magicstick can be availed at Rs 1599. The product is inclusive of a 1-month subscription of Gold HD combo. However, when we tried to book the product on the d2h website, we were redirected to a sales page wherein it was not listed. d2h HD RF Set-Top Box with Magicstick can’t be booked currently.
Pertinent to note that the combo offer is cheaper than the standalone price of HD RF Set Top Box. It is unclear whether the pricing is correct or not. The combo offer is currently neither listed on the home page nor on the header menu on the d2h website. However, one can expect the same to be available soon since the listing is new and offers a different package than HD RF Set Box which offers 1 month of subscription to Platinum HD.
d2h Magic on a standalone basis is available at an introductory price of Rs 399. It allows subscribers to access a range of OTT apps such Zee5, ALT Balaji, Hungama Play, Watcho and a huge library of curated online videos, Catch-Up shows, and Web-series. It has a monthly service charge of Rs 25 excluding GST which is waived for the first 3 months as part of a limited time offer.
d2h has this month made major changes on its website with half of the work currently pending possibly delayed because of the coronavirus. We are expecting some more major changes to d2h offerings in the next few days. Notably, d2h recently reduced the price of its SD and HD set-top box to make it on par with Dish TV new connection price.
d2h has also introduced ‘d2h intelligence assistant‘ on its website that helps customers by giving solutions to their problems. With customer care staff reduced due to lockdown restrictions, d2h customers can easily resolve their problems through the virtual assistant.
