The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) has closed over 20 plus MSO registrations in the last three months of 2021 and the first week of January 2022 as per the list of cancelled and closed MSO registration details released by the Ministry on 18th January 2022.
AP Digital Vision, SSCN Digital TV and Broadband, Durga Cable Network, Paramount Cable Network, Link Entertainment, Satellite Reception Centre, B4S Solutions Private Limited, Navoneel Cable TV Network, Bhusawal Cable Network, Basudeb Communication, Cochin News Network, Hariom Cable Network, Ganapati Digital Network, Omkar Digital Cable Network, Gajanan Cable Network, Indra Prasad Boro, Delhi Distribution Company, Mandvi Dish Antenna, Bhyraveshwara Cable Network, Star Club Cable and Broadband Private Limited, Hubli Digital Cable Net and Broadband services, and Vimitel Network Private Limited are the MSOs whose MSO registration or MSO application has been cancelled or closed by the Ministry for various reasons.
The Ministry had earlier cancelled/closed 4 Multi-System Operator (MSO) registrations belonging to Cable One Private Limited, Hare Krishna Cable Network, SLT Communication, and Scod18 Network Private Limited for various reasons during September-October 2021 period.
