MIB grants registration to 20 MSOs during October 2021-January 2022

Total MSO registrations reach 1751 as MIB grants 20 fresh MSO registrations in October 2021-January 2022 period.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) has granted around 20 new Multi System Operator (MSO) registrations during October 2021-January 2022 time period, as per the list of registered MSOs released by the Ministry on 18th January 2022. The number of registered MSOs as of 18th January 2022 now stands at 1752.

The Ministry has granted fresh MSO registrations to ABC Network, Haji Malang Baba Cable Network, JCC Network, Gayatri Communications, Sen Network, Nandini Vision Cable (OPC) Private Limited, Maruthi Satellite System, Ani Data Services (OPC) Private Limited, Veer Teja Cable Network, Brightway Digital Communications, Lucky Star Vision, Siddhi Network’s, Shanti Cable Network, Yogesh Cable Network, BA Digital Networks LLP, A+ Media Broadcasting Private Limited, Ma Tara Cable TV Network, Calcutta Television Network Private Limited, Grand Vision, and NXTDIGITAL Limited.

The Ministry had earlier granted 11 fresh registrations to Multi-System Operators (MSOs) in the month of September 2021 taking the total registered MSOs count to 1743 as of 1st October 2021. The Ministry has also closed over 20 plus MSO registrations in the last three months of 2021 and the first week of January 2022.
