New Delhi Television Limited (NDTV) on Friday submitted in front of the Telecom Disputes and Settlement Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) that it would settle its dues at the earliest.

Hathway Digital Private Limited had on 03rd July moved the tribunal against NDTV for recovery. The broadcaster appeared on advance notice through a counsel. The counsel for NDTV told the tribunal that it wants to settle the matter and come forward with a schedule of payment at the earliest.

The broadcaster prayed for two weeks time which was granted by the tribunal. The court noted, “If the schedule of payment is not furnished by the next date, the Tribunal may consider NDTVs letter dated 15.6.2019 as an admission of liability.”

The tribunal has posted the matter under the same head-on 29.7.2019.
