Reliance Ind acquires DEN and Hathway network

Very soon they may take over these MSOs

Threat for all MSOs and DTHs coming soon. RJIO will be smashing this industry similar to Telecom Industry. Consumers bound to benifit.

Jio already has some alliance or they are planning to acquire DEN, not sure I saw the news somewhere

It's new update in this. We've discussed this too.

As hathway is one of the leading cable platform in India it would be easy for hathway to reach door to door.

But will they convert cable to Giga fiber to provide channels ? Or will they have 2 systems one they cable and other thru fiber ?

I think they'll run only fibers. Simply replace the STB with new one. And, it might possible they'll change hathway customer STB with JioSTB for no extra charge.

Both Hathway and Asianet cable are under same parent company.

Yes they have. But, govt. is completely in support of Mukesh Ambani so it will not take much time to grind these giant companies in one. Like in Dishd2h and VodafoneIdeaLtd they've and they're taking.
