Prasar Bharati and National Media Authority Egypt sign MoU to share TV and Radio programmes
Following the delegation level talks between the two countries, they exchanged the MoU in the presence of the Prime Minister of India and the President of Egypt.

Mr Anurag Singh Thakur, Hon’ble Union Minister of Information & Broadcasting, Youth Affairs and Sports and Mr Sameh Hassan Shoukry, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Government of Egypt have signed an MoU to facilitate sharing of content, co-production and training of officials in the latest technologies.
Following the delegation level talks between the two countries at Hyderabad House in New Delhi, they exchanged the MoU in the presence of the Prime Minister of India and the President of Egypt. Currently, Prasar Bharati has 39 MoUs with various foreign broadcasters.
This Memorandum of Undertaking will allow both Prasar Bharati and National Media Authority, Egypt to exchange their programs of different genres like Sports, News, Culture, Entertainment and more on a bilateral basis which will be telecast on their Radio and Television platforms for a period of 3 years.
“The MoU is part of the efforts by Prasar Bharati to expand the reach of DD India Channel to showcase the country’s progress through programmes focussed on economy, technology, social development and also the rich cultural heritage,” read an official statement.
