Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has now revised its NTO 2.0 compliant reference interconnect offer which was published in October last year. The company is keeping its major driver channels out of bouquets and priced above Rs 20.Â
The new prices are effective from April 1st 2022. Sony has not made any big changes in terms of pricing compared to previously released RIO. Subscribers have to pay Rs 23 for Sony SAB, Rs 24 for Sony Entertainment Television while sports channels like Sony Six, Sony Ten 1 and Sony Ten 2 are priced at Rs 20 each. Sony Ten 3 and Sony Ten 4 will be available in bouquets and at Rs 12 as a la carte.
Earlier priced at Rs 0.50, Sony Wah and Sony Pal prices are going to be increased to Rs 1 each while Sony Yay MRP is revised from Rs 2 to Rs 3 and Sony Six cost is increasing from Rs 15 to Rs 20. Other channels prices remain the same as declared in October 2021.Â
According to Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) tariff order amendment 2020 or NTO 2.0, channels price must not be more than Rs 12 for being included in any bouquet. Sony Pictures Network India is operating 16 SD and 10 HD channels in the country.
