Sun Network on Friday declared its financial results for the quarter ending March 31, 2020. Sun Network has posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 245.23 crore in Q4 FY 20, down from Rs 384.69 crore in Q3 FY 20. On a standalone basis, the net profit stood at Rs 250 crores in Q4 FY 20, down from Rs 373.45 crores in Q3 FY 20.

The subscription revenue for the year ended 31st March 2020 stood at Rs 1,562.23 crore, up by 18% whereas the advertisement revenue for the year ended 31st March 2020 stood at Rs 1336.91 crore.
Sun Network’s Q4 FY 20 Net Profit settled at Rs 245.23 crore, down from Rs 384.69 crore in Q3 FY 20. The total expenses in Q4 FY 20 stood at Rs 493.26 crore, up from Rs 404.32 crore. The total income in Q4 FY 20 stood at Rs 818.81 crore, down from Rs 914.14 crore in Q3 FY 20.
On an annual basis, the net profit came down from Rs 1,433.68 crore in FY 19 to Rs 1,385.49 crore in FY 20. The total income came down from Rs 4009.5 crore in FY 19 to Rs 3780.5 crore in FY 20. The total expenses in FY 20 stood at Rs 1956.88 crore, up from Rs 1840.32 crore in FY 19.
Sun Network is one of the biggest broadcasters in India with Satellite Television channels across Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada and Bangla. It airs FM radio stations, owns Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL and runs Sun Direct apart from the Television business.
