India’s largest DTH operator Tata Sky after discontinuing 13 long-duration acquisition packs, launched 6 new monthly and annual packs for various geographical regions across the country on Saturday, September 9, first spotted by DreamDTH.
Newly launched packs comprise of 4 Tamil, 1 Bengali and 1 Punjabi package namely- Tamil Lite Plus HD, Tamil Lite Plus SD, Tamil Lite New HD, Tamil Lite New SD, Bengali Lite Plus SD, Punjabi Super Pack SD.
Bengali Lite Plus SD pack provides total 38 SD channels including 5 kids, 2 Hindi news, 5 Hindi entertainment, 8 Bengali regional, 4 Hindi movies, 4 infotainment, 3 Music, 1 Hindi regional, 4 Hindi sports, and 2 other channels at a cost of Rs 225 per month (including taxes and NCF).
Punjabi Super Pack SD is the biggest pack which gives 78 SD channels comprising of 13 Hindi movies, 13 Hindi entertainment, 9 Hindi news, 11 infotainment, 9 Hindi regional, 6 kids, 7 music, 3 other, 5 sports, 1 Gujarati and 1 Punjabi regional channel at a monthly price of Rs 225 (including taxes and NCF)
Tamil Lite New HD pack offers 26 channels- 12 Tamil regional, 3 infotainment, 4 sports, 1 English news, 1 Hindi movie, 1 music, 2 Hindi news, 1 other and 1 Malayalam regional channels for Rs 319.7 per month (including taxes and NCF)
Tamil Lite New SD also offers 26 channels which include 12 Tamil regional, 3 infotainment, 4 sports, 1 English news, 1 Hindi movie, 1 music, 2 Hindi news, 1 other and 1 Malayalam regional channels at Rs 199 (including taxes and NCF) for 1 month.
Tamil Lite Plus SD pack provides 43 channels consisting of 13 Tamil regionals, 5 Kannada regional, 6 Telugu regional, 6 Malayalam regional, 3 infotainment, 1 English news, 1 Hindi movies, 1 music, 2 Hindi news, 1 other and 4 sports channels at Rs 225 per month (including taxes and NCF)
Tamil Lite Plus HD pack gives 42 channels to encompass 13 Tamil regional, 5 Kannada regional, 5 Telugu regional, 6 Malayalam regional, 3 infotainment, 1 English news, 1 Hindi movies, 1 music, 2 Hindi news, 1 other and 4 sports channels at monthly rate of Rs 374.1 (including taxes and NCF).

Tata Sky customer care executive told DreamDTH that these packs are available to subscribers only in specific regions. Customers can subscribe to these packs on a monthly basis online using Tata Sky website or mobile app but those who want to opt for annual packages have to contact their nearest dealer.
