Tata Sky discontinues 13 long duration packs

These packs have been discontinued with immediate effect on Friday, November 8.

DTH operator Tata Sky has discontinued 13 of its long duration acquisition packs. These packs have been discontinued with immediate effect on Friday, November 8 and no new customer can now subscribe to them, first spotted by DreamDTH.

However, those customers who are currently subscribed to any of these packs will not be affected with this sudden change and their current pack will continue unless they drop it from their account. Once removed they won’t be able to add it again.

LDP acquisition SD and HD packs which are removed includes Annual Hindi Basic, Annual Hindi Basic HD, Annual Gujarati Lite, Annual Gujarati Lite HD, Annual Gujarati Hindi Basic, Annual Gujarati Hindi Basic HD, Annual Marathi Hindi Basic, Annual Marathi Hindi Basic HD, Annual Odia Value, Annual Bengali Value, Semi-annual Telugu Super, Semi-annual Kannada Super, Semi-annual Kannada Super HD.

Tata Sky provides offer on long-duration recharges, if you recharge with an amount equivalent to or more than 12 times your current monthly recharge value then additional 1-month recharge amount will be credited to your account and you will be able to watch TV for 13 months by paying only for 12 months.

Revision of FTA Basic Pack

‘FTA Basic Pack’ is a Tata Sky curated pack which bundles most of free to air (FTA) channels. The operator has modified this pack to replace DD Mizoram channel with DD Anuprabha and National Voice UP/UK with Gulistan News. This pack is currently providing 99 FTA channels.
