Direct to Home (DTH) operator Tata Sky is all set to launch a new platform service onboard its platform with the introduction of ‘Tata Sky Malayalam Cinema‘ which is in the pipeline. The service channel will be a one-stop destination for the best of Mollywood with movie premieres before Television, classic and latest blockbuster movies, and an ad-free viewing experience.
The service channel powered by Asianet will be free for first 5 days and be available to subscribers at Rs 45 per month thereafter. According to a dedicated microsite on Tata Sky’s website, the service channel will be available at channel number 1805, just ahead of Asianet HD which is the powerhouse of the service channel.

The content line-up on Tata Sky Malayalam Cinema will include Kilometers and Kilometers, Maniyarayile Ashokan, Aadu 2, ABCD: American – Born Confused Desi, Action Hero Biju, Al Mallu, Ambili, Chithram, Boeing Boeing, Drishyam, Ennum Eppozhum, and Ennu Ninte Moideen among other Malayalam movies.
