Tata Sky users can now upgrade to Binge+ box at effective price of Rs 4999

The hybrid box comes with inbuilt Chromecast and supports 4K, Dolby Atmos.

On 6th January, DTH operator Tata Sky launched its first Android-powered hybrid set-top box, Binge+ at price of Rs 5,999 for both existing and new customers. Now it has started a new promotional offer under which it is giving Rs 1,000 cashback to existing subscribers who are upgrading to this box.

Any customer who upgrades to Binge+ set-top box will have to pay Rs 5,999 and within 48 hours of activating new box Rs 1,000 will be credited in customer’s Tata Sky account making it’s effective cost Rs 4,999. This offer is applicable on all sources and modes of transaction.

Rs 1000 Cashback on Tata Sky Binge Plus set top box

Tata Sky agent Swati Makde told DreamDTH, “Tata Sky Binge+ is a new set-top box so we were checking its demand, based on that we have brought this exciting new offer for existing customers”

Tata Sky Binge+ set-top box gives access to the DTH, IPTV and OTT content, all in one place. Its users can opt for Binge plus subscription at Rs 249 per month to get premium content from Zee5, Hotstar, Eros Now, Hungama and SunNxt. However, this subscription is not mandatory, you can use these apps even with your separate subscriptions. 

The hybrid box comes with inbuilt Chromecast and supports 4K, Dolby Atmos. Although it has most of apps and games to download from Google Play Store but Netflix is not available so far, Tata Sky may add it in the future through software update but we have no confirmation regarding the same.

  1. In my opinion it’s only a offer. We pay 6000. They created ₹1000. And see, we return our existing HD or SD STB . It cost approx ₹ 1000. It’s a type of marketing. Anyway the climax is ₹6000. 👍
