I know why they are doing it. There's already a channel called Kalinga TV and in order to end the confusion and also to avoid legal complications, they are changing it from Zee Kalinga News to Zee Odisha. (Although the status is "Marked for exam" and not "Approved"/"Accepted")

Zee Odisha makes sense as all other Zee media channels are either Name of state(Zee MP/Chhatisgarh, Zee Bihar/Jharkhand, Zee UP/Uttarakhand, Zee Punjab/Haryana/HP or 24Hours in that regional language (Zee 24tas - Marathi, Zee 24Kalak - Gujrati, Zee 24 Ghanta- Bengali)

Zee Odisha will follow red colour, very good. But one thing must be noted, currently Zee Sarthak also in red colour. Two same regional channels are in same colour, it never be happened, specially from Zee (Zee Telugu & Zee Cinemalu - both are in different colours, Zee Marathi, Zee Yuva, Zee Talkies all are following variety of colours).
So, I think they are going to oriangify Zee Sarthak logo as like Zee TV, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada etc and also launch it's HD version.:wink:
