Direct-to-Home (DTH) operator Airtel Digital TV recently carried out preventive maintenance on its systems. The maintenance was carried out from 29th June to 1st July.
The platform informed its customers about preventive maintenance through scrolls on channel 999 and Airtel Customer Care. The scroll stated, ”Our systems will be under preventive maintenance from 29 June to 1 July 2022. You may face disruption in your Airtel DTH services these days between 01:00 and 05:00. We apologise for the inconvenience.’
The preventive maintenance carried out at midnight during the three days was just for the up-gradation process and the enhancement of channel quality. As per Airtel, it also involved the basic maintenance of the frequencies.
To minimize any inconvenience to customers, Airtel did the maintenance activities after midnight between 1am to 5am when a very few users watch television.
