Airtel Digital TV now lets you Heavy Refresh your account through a Missed Call
Airtel Digital users can now give a missed call on 8448284708 from their registered mobile number in case they are unable to view the channel.

Direct to Home (DTH) operator Airtel Digital TV has launched a missed call service for its customer to do a heavy refresh on their account. Airtel has listed the missed call service on its unsubscribed channel banner yesterday.

According to the unsubscribed channel banner, Airtel Digital users can now give a missed call on 8448284708 from their registered mobile number in case they are unable to view the channel.
Airtel until now was allowing users to do a heavy refresh by sending ‘HR’ to 54325, using the Airtel self-care or app to command a heavy refresh, or by contacting the customer care to refresh their account.
The new initiative will give more options to Airtel customers to easily refresh their accounts. Often after recharging or subscribing to a channel, customers are unable to view channels as their account wasn’t updated as their set-top box was not ON during the time of recharge. Heavy refresh helps fix the issue by sending a refresh command to the set-top box.
In other news, Airtel has extended the preview of Aapki Rasoi, Airtel Seniors TV, Let’s Dance, and Airtel Toons until May 3, 2020. The free preview of service channels was set to expire on 30th April which now stands extended till 3rd May.
