Airtel Digital TV has reduced the price of one of its curated packs a few days back, first spotted by DreamDTH. The pack which is meant for the Andhra Pradesh market has also been added with few more channels.
Andhra Pradesh SD pack’s price has been reduced from Rs 198 to Rs 189. The price cut is Rs 9. The pack has also been added with 6 new pay channels. MTV Beats, CNN News18, FYI TV18, News18 India, News18 Urdu, and Zee Salaam have been added to the pack. DD Yadagiri has been dropped from the pack.
The pack offers 324 channels now. It has been removed from Airtel’s system so the pack cannot be activated now. Old users will continue on the package who has subscribed to it. The curated base packs from Airtel are available at reduced prices with low NCF.

In other news, Airtel Digital TV readded B4U Kadak, B4U Movies, B4U Music and Khabrein Abhi Tak within a week after their removal. A new promotional channel Airtel News Home 3 has been added on LCN 327.
The service provider has dropped also a few channels from its free bundle packs. ABN Andhra Jyothi, AP 24*7, Prajaa TV, India Watch, and a bunch of ITV Network channels except bar India News and News X are among the channels dropped from free bundle pack.
ABN Andhra Jyothi’s customer care is reported to have told a DreamDTH member that the channels had been dropped intentionally by the DTH operator from its free bundle packs.
As reported by DreamDTH a few days back, the DTH operator added Sun Network’s Telugu movie channel Gemini Movies HD on channel number 896. Airtel had also launched 3 new HD monthly packs recently as well for its HD customers.
