Airtel Digital TV has launched three new monthly HD packs for ROI and Tamil Nadu region first spotted by DreamDTH. Out of the two packs launched one of the pack is a newer version of an existing pack.
Freedom Entertainment HD, Freedom Sports HD, and TN Regional 1M HD Urban New are the three newly launched packs. The Urban New pack carries 60 channels as compared to its older version carrying 59 channels.
Freedom Sports HD Pack offers 114 channels at a monthly price of Rs 426. The Airtel bundle costs Rs 249 with NCF of the pack charged as Rs 177. The pack offers Colors HD, LF HD, Star Sports HD2, &tv HD, Colors Cineplex HD, Ten 3 HD, History TV18 HD, &xplor HD, SET HD, Sab HD, Nick HD+, Star Sports 1 Hindi HD, Sony Max HD, Zee Cinema HD, &pictures HD, Sony BBC Earth HD and Zee TV HD among other channels.
TN Regional 1M HD Urban New is a newer version of the existing pack. The newer version is priced the same as the older version but carries one extra channel Colors Tamil HD. The newer version pack NCF has been revised to Rs 104 compared to earlier NCF of Rs 113 on the pack to adjust Colors Tamil HD price.
The pack offers Zee Tamil HD, Sun TV HD, Colors Tamil HD, NGC HD, Sun Music HD, Star Vijay HD, Zee Keralam HD, Star Sports 2 HD, LF HD, Nat Geo Wild HD, KTV HD, Vijay Super, Star Sports 1 Tamil among other channels.
Freedom Entertainment HD Pack bundle costs Rs 183 a month plus NCF charges as applicable. The pack offers Sony Ten 3 HD, Discovery HD, Jeet Prime HD, Living Foodz, Animal Planet, MTV Beats, History TV18, Discovery Science, Sony Mix, Colors Rishtey, VH1, DSport, Marvel HQ, Sony, SAB TV, MTV, &tv, Sony Marathi among other channels.
The Urban packs are reported to be the top-selling pack in the Tamil Nadu region for Airtel Digital TV as it is an effective budget-oriented pack. Airtel offers a range of Urban packs for the Tamil Nadu market.
