Direct to Home (DTH) operator Airtel Digital TV has over the past two days rejigged the LCN of Sony Pal, Colors Rishtey, Star Utsav, Zee Anmol, and Shemaroo TV in two phases on 11th November and 13th November.
Airtel has shifted Colors Rishtey from LCN 129 to LCN 128, Star Utsav from LCN 131 to LCN 129, Sony Pal from LCN 132 to LCN 131, and Shemaroo TV from LCN 143 to LCN 132 on 11th November followed by the rejig of Zee Anmol LCN earlier this midnight. Zee Anmol has been moved from LCN 140 to LCN 139.

The rejig in LCNs is one of the biggest on Airtel Digital TV ever since the New Tariff Order came into effect with Airtel moving 4 pay-Hindi GECs from major pay broadcasters.
For the unaware, the New Tariff Order has a 1 year LCN lock-in period barring distribution platform operators from changing the LCN of a channel within 1 year of an agreement.
Tata Sky has recently undertaken a mega LCN change which is being done genre by genre over the past few weeks. The operator had during the NTO 2.0 consultation flagged the lock-in period to TRAI asking it to be done away with it.
