Comedy Central brand is owned by someone else, along with MTV and VH1.
Star and Colors along with sub brands like Infinity, Vijay, Gold will be owned by by new India JV and will distributed from India only, I think.

After viewing old English TRP ratings, Comedy Central HD was the no 1 channel while its SD variant was placed at 3rd or 4th position. Colors Infinity was in the Top 10 sometimes beating other English channels.

Atleast Colors Marathi has original shows it doesn't run on Dubbed shows like Colors Tamil, so no need to shut down it!

Yeah. Colors Tamil and Vijay Takkar deserves a shutdown. Pre covid, Colors Tamil used to air some good stories at least. Now it's rubbish. Only movies on repeat and dubbing serials. The channel lost its originality in the midway. Vijay Takkar is no comments simply waste. Cuz Vijay super is there for movies.

Vh1 shutting down feels personal. Anyhow it was destined to happened anyway. I haven't watched the channel itself in months. TV market is in declining mode already. Star was slow poisoning it and Comedy Central like they did with Star World. Bindass is a bigger victim. Now I have several questions about shut down of MTV Beats.

Are you guys serious? You had one exclusive HD music channel. Why are you shutting down. How can MTV not have music? TV doesn't need more cricket channels. We get it. You guys have some weird male crush for Kohli and Rohit. You don't need to have ten channels to fantasies about them. It happens. But you don't have to get rid of everything that caters to youth.

Frankly, Star Sports 1 (multi audio) and Star Sports 2 (multi audio) is enough with Star Sports Select ... It's really unnecessary to have more channels only for sports
