Its surprising to know that &TV was added as MPEG2 channel. Since they are trying to convert all existing channels into MPEG4 technology since long time, its strange to see that they added a new channel in MPEG2.

Is converting all channels into MPEG4 in a single go possible technically? I'm asking this because Tata Sky is converting channels in installments. Why didnt they convert them in a single batch? Is it not possible or does it have any drawbacks?
