1.u will get real 5.1 out put if that particular movke telacast in 5.1 dd

2. U will get good bass

Overall dd experience will b awesome only if ur ht supports dd and u connect thru optical cable

Yes 5.1 surround sound is giving me a tough time...now i have to handle 2 remotes in my hand if i want to watch tv..
Channels with 5.1 sound have so low volume i have to max out dishtv and increase ht volume. Then if i move to a normal channel sound is very loud....and dishtv doesnt provide 5.1 in all HD channel which is troublesome..zee studio has the worst 5.1 output of them all.
Best 5.1 experience i get in Star movies HD and MN+HD...it feels like i am in a theater..but rest all sucks...like star world...some adds have 5.1 sound some dont...volume keeps fluctuating in between adds ...5.1 sound needs a lot of improvement in indian channels....and i hope dishtv ads 5.1 in all HD channels soon..
